Welcome Back!
Welcome back to the new school year. On behalf of all of the staff at Orchard Primary, I would like to welcome Mr Cooper to the school in his role as Class 3 teacher, as well as Mrs Brain, who will be joining our Midday Supervisor team.
I would also like to extend a very warm welcome to all new children and their families. The start to the new school year has gone exceptionally well. Our Reception children have settled happily into their new routines and are thoroughly enjoying exploring the super activities in their classrooms and making new friends. Clubs and Inspiration Days are also up and running this week … it’s like we’ve never been away!
It’s fair to say that we have a very exciting year ahead of us. There will be a big focus on developing creative approaches to learning, as well as introducing Character Education across the whole school. Watch this space!
