Orchard Primary School Food Bank
Please call the office if you’d like to pop over to the studio to collect any items during the school day or if you would like us to bag you some items up to collect. The food bank is there to be used. We’ve even got some bags for life!
Please know that there is no judgement to be made re: the use of the Food Bank. We’re basically a mini supermarket
Food Bank Notice – 15th January 2021
As well as being able to offer items for collection from the food bank, we are also still able to receive donations during Lockdown.
Any contributions are welcome, but we are getting particularly short of the following:
- Tinned sweetcorn
- Tins of tuna
- Tinned fruit
- Tinned vegetables
- Tinned puddings
- Pasta Bake Sauce (we’re ok for bolognese sauce)
We can’t begin to express what your contributions towards our Food Bank Scheme mean to the School. We have had a wonderful response overall; all food items, vouchers and monetary contributions will go to extremely good use.
The Covid pandemic has become such a burden to families but your actions will hopefully help to lighten the load for some of our families.
As well as amazing parental support, we have also had a number of very generous contributions from local companies and family donors:
- M&S - c/o a school family
- School family - books and money
- Hey! Display - £100 vouchers
- The Lamb - £150
- One Connectivity - £100
- Workhouse Gym - £100 vouchers
- TBAT - x42 vouchers for £30
- Lole Directors - £100 vouchers
- Mars - food donation
- Baptist Church - £100
- Parish Council - chocolate for pupils
- Heywoods - £50
- Aerofab Fabrications - £50
